What we publish
GunReviewLab is an editorial publication about design, heritage and responsible ownership. Our current articles are general education and source-based interpretation. They are not hands-on reviews, professional instruction or legal advice.
Sources should be visible
We prefer primary sources: official safety guidance, museum collections and archival research guides. Article source lists identify the material supporting factual claims. Historical uncertainty stays visible; a persuasive story is not a reason to erase it.
Testing requires actual tests
There are no published product tests or ratings on this site. Before publishing any future hands-on review, we require a record of product provenance, test dates and conditions, method, observations and limitations. Manufacturer statements must remain distinct from our own observations. “Lab” is a brand name, not a claim of accreditation.
Commercial transparency
This launch includes no paid placements, advertising, affiliate links or retailer referrals. If commercial relationships are introduced, relevant disclosures must appear where readers encounter the content. They must not be hidden behind a general policy.
Illustration and authorship
Atmospheric heritage and safe illustrations are AI-generated. Model-specific reference photographs are separately credited with their licenses on the image captions and image credits page. The AI illustrations are not photographs of tested products or records of specific historical objects. Launch articles were prepared with AI assistance. We do not attach invented experts, credentials or author biographies to them.
Corrections
Substantive changes should be identified with an updated date and a correction note on the article. A public feedback channel has not yet been opened; see our contact and corrections page for its current status.
